Circus music is big as an elephant's todger right now, with Britney Spears and Take That building on the circus theme craze that has swept the global pop music scene. Retro circus is back, with reports that clown schools are turning away applicants in their little tiny cars.
Take That's "The Circus" sold 133,000 copies on its first day and will likely take the number 1 spot on the UK album charts. Across the waters, Britney Spear's "Circus" will open at number 1 on the Billboard 200 with estimates of over 450,000 albums sold in week 1. Ms. Spears will begin her "Circus Starring Britney Spears" tour in March.

Mini Britney is no fool and is riding the wave. Though she did not manage to score the part of the mini clown handing the birthday cake to Big Brit on her album backcover, many other opportunities await as this theme reaches its frenzied finale.
