Sequel To "Hairspray" Movie Musical In The Works
Variety is reporting that John Waters has been asked to write a sequel to his movie/Broadway musical/movie musical "Hairspray." New Line Cinema is hoping to snag most of the original cast for the sequel, and is planning to release the movie summer 2010. "Hairspray" has proven itself to be quite a cash cow, but maybe there can be too much of a good thing. [Source]
