Liza Falls Off Stage in Sweden, Crowd Needs to be Subdued

The veteran entertainer collapsed during a Christmas show Wednesday night and fell off the side of the stage, but was caught by a technician. They both apparently escaped permanent injuries.

Minnelli, 61, was appearing in a Christmas show, together with Swedish performers. It was the final show after another performance in Gothenburg on Tuesday and shows in Stockholm during the weekend.

Police were called to the venue to subdue the angry crowds. Rumors appear unfounded that pepper spray and Tasers were required to quell the charging Liza-loving crowds, temporarily brought to madness either by the performance or the premature end of it.  [Source]
