Christie's Stages Rock and Pop Memorabilia Auction

The collection includes a Rickenbacker Transonic Amplifier used by Led Zeppelin during their first American tour ($10-15,000 est.), a faux, fur full length white coat made for Britney Spears' Dream Within a Dream 2002 Tour ($800-1,200 est.) and a canceled check from Madonna made payable to Craig's Custom Car Care ($500-700).

Britney Cuts Interview Short With Ryan Seacrest To Take Shower

Ryan Seacrest attempted to speak to Britney Spears this morning on his radio show, only to be cut short when she abruptly left the phone interview to take a shower.  Her assistant Alli was left to finish up in her place. 

During their short conversation Britney revealed that the now infamous, "It's Britney, bitch" was not her idea, but (surprise!) the song's producer.  "Oh God. The producer told me to say that, I didn't do it. And that's how it came about." 

Britney also told Ryan that "Heaven on Earth" was her favorite track on "Blackout," and that she celebrated its release with a quiet night at home eating fried chicken and Famous Amos cookies.  Click here to listen to entire interview.  [Source]

Ex-Pussycat Doll's Solo Debut Gets Another Delay

It's the album that might have nine release dates. Nicole Scherzinger's first solo effort since leaving the Pussycat Dolls has once again been delayed, this time with no specific release date. The concisely titled, "Her Name is Nicole," has had its fair share of problems -- the first single, "Whatever U Like," was released in July and flopped. Unfortunately, the second "first" single, "Baby Love," is not doing much better at the moment. [Source]

Above is the first promo picture for Goldfrapp's next album "Seventh Tree" due out February 26. The press release creatively describes it as, "a sensual counterpoint to the glitterball glamour of 'Supernature,' 'Seventh Tree' is gilded in the butterfly colours of an English surrealism shared from Lear to Lennon." Hmm... judging from that statement and the subdued picture of Alison, can we assume that this one is going to be something of a downer compared to "Supernature?" [Source]

Our favorite beatboxing, American Idol runner-up, has just released the first single off of his upcoming album "Audio Day Dream," out December 4. Not surprisingly, "Break Anotha" sounds like the song Justin Timberlake never recorded, which is actually a good thing, and most definitely assures that it will be a hit. FYI, much like Clay Aiken has the Claymates, Blake Lewis has the Blaker Girls.

Kelis had originally been signed to Arista, but through a series of mergers ended up over at Jive, which also houses Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. Kylie Makes History With Award

Kylie Minogue has been honored with the Music Industry Trust prize tonight, the first woman so awarded in the event's 16 year history.

According to the MITS Award Committee, The Award is being presented to Kylie in “recognition of her universally acclaimed status as an icon of pop and style achieved over a 20 year career which has seen her reinvent, experiment and inspire.  Kylie has established one of the longest and most successful careers as a performer in contemporary popular music and her tenacity and determination to succeed, on and off the stage, have been an inspiration to so many.
